Dr. Robert Rice completed his orthopedic residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and will be one of the few specialists in arthroscopic surgery in Northern Davis County. His fellowship was with Taos Orthopedic Institute in Taos, NM. He received his Medical Degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He is a University of Utah alum earning a Bachelors of Science in Spanish, minor in Chemistry. He will open his practice at Tanner Clinic in August.

Dr. Rice is excited to join Tanner Clinic where he will specialize in arthroscopic surgery and treating sports related injuries to the knee, shoulder and hip. He also enjoys treating a wide spectrum of orthopedic conditions. He is eager to return to Utah and Davis County where his grandparents grew up and to work at the clinic where they received care.
