While my nurses and I work for a clinic, we believe that our patient is the boss and deserves timely, compassionate care. I do my best to be on time in the clinic and to be available to my patients outside the clinic. I also believe that staying informed on the latest clinical improvements is important so that I can pass on to my patients any new information that might affect their future health care. And, while I am a specialist, I believe that some conditions may require consultation with another physician having special expertise in that condition in order to provide my patient with the best possible care.

We have a number of highly qualified physicians in the Department of OB-GYN. That means that there will always be someone available to assist you. And even though we share call, our philosophy has always been to do everything possible fto care for our own patients, especially when hospitalization is required. I believe that this is very important in obstetrics. I enjoy getting to know my patients over time through this very personalized way of practicing obstetrics and gynecology.

Personal Information

I grew up on a fruit farm in Orem where much of my family still lives. I have always been involved in church and community service including a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina. I owe much of who I am to my good wife, who I married in 1986. We came back to Utah and are settled in Davis County, mainly because we feel that this is the best place to raise our five children. While it is difficult to find much spare time beyond family, church, and work, I do enjoy gardening, outdoor activities, and taking an occasional vacation to see the world.
